Greetings, dear Soul! May 14 is 7-7-7, the Top of the Pulse-Wave Chakra Pyramid, and therefore the Crown Chakra is activated for all people born of the Seventh Tonal, including our 8 Exemplars to be hashed over later. And the Nagual of the day is the Spiritual Guardian, the Graceful, the Earnest Deer:
Reflecting Deer.
As you can see here again, we are at the peak of the first Pulse-Wave of the Tzolk’ een, and our lead-off batter of the 13 Reflecting K’ een of the whole bunch is Deer:
To the Maya, the Deer is so important because it was the first animal mentioned in their sacred creation myth, the Popul Vuh, which the Makers and Modelers of all life on earth created first for a reason: Protection. Their job is to protect all the other four-footed creatures of the forests and the plains. In my estimation, even though a Jaguar can pounce upon an adult alligator and crush it’s brain with one bite, they will not attack a full grown male deer.
Another coolio thingy about Tone 7 is the connection to the Pleiades, yay! And actually, they are said to be representative of all 7 Chakras, too. Here are all the Key Code Words for the triple 7 pair:
Now, our Exemplars. The only other K’ een with as many as this is Understanding Jaguar-Shaman, with 8 major players like George Noory and Zecharia Sitchin, if you’ll recall. But today’s octet is stunning. Honestly, there might even be more harmonic threads being woven between these people today than those Jaggys.
John Randolph Price truly wanted everyone to prosper. He was a spiritual teacher and author best known for his writings on prosperity consciousness, metaphysics, and the connection between spirituality and material abundance. The Deer glyph resonates with his ability to approach deep spiritual work with gentleness, using reflection to help others find inner peace and align with their higher purpose.
His work integrates New Thought principles, Eastern philosophy, and mystical Christianity, and he is often associated with the human potential movement of the late 20th century. Best known book: “The Abundance Book”, 1987, pioneering the Law of Attraction 20 years before Esther Hicks uttered those words.
Rebecca Campbell is a modern spiritual teacher, intuitive, and bestselling author best known for her oracle card decks and books that blend mysticism, divine feminine wisdom, and New Age spirituality. Her work is deeply focused on awakening, soul purpose, and spiritual embodiment, especially for women. I was drawn to her work by “The Starseed Oracle Deck”, very popular among us Starseeds.
Her work, especially through her oracle cards and books like Light is the New Black and Rise Sister Rise, encourages individuals to reflect on their inner light, reconnect with their soul’s purpose, and embrace their spiritual path. She teaches the importance of grace, self-love, and spiritual awakening. She invites others to reflect deeply on their lives, trust their intuition, and embrace transformation with gentleness and strength.
Kurt Vonnegut was an American author best known for his darkly satirical novels that blend science fiction, absurdism, and humanist philosophy. He's widely considered one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. Themes: The absurdity of war, The Dehumanizing Effects of Technology and Bureaucracy, and a sharp, slashing Satire of American Culture, Politics, and Religion. Slaughterhouse Five was his most noted work, but despite the horrific stories within, Vonnegut identified as a humanist and even served as honorary president of the American Humanist Association. Despite his often bleak portrayals of society, he believed in basic human decency, kindness, and love.
Gary Zukav is an American spiritual teacher and author best known for bridging the gap between quantum physics and spirituality in much more accessible language than his Fractal Tzolk’ een Twin, Michio Kaku. Zukav’s work often explores the evolution of human consciousness, the power of intention, and the soul's journey.
Are you noticing a theme yet? Gary’s work, specifically “The Seat of the Soul”, completely changed my life, and came to me just as magically as my story about the first breakthrough book I read, “Many Lives, Many Masters”, by Dr. Brian Weiss (Stabilizing Obsidian Mirror / Knife). I have made a condensed version of SotS, and will email it to any of you if you merely ask.
Mr. Zukav’s focus on creating more conscious relationships and his exploration of spiritual energy and human potential aligns deeply with the Reflecting Deer energy. Zukav reflects on the nature of consciousness, self-awareness, and the soul’s journey, inviting others to look inward and align with their higher selves in a graceful, transformative way.
Michio Kaku is a Japanese-American theoretical physicist, futurist, and science communicator best known for popularizing complex scientific ideas—especially those in physics and cosmology—for general audiences. He’s a co-founder of string field theory, a branch of string theory, and a passionate advocate for exploring the future of humanity through science.
He doesn’t promote spirituality or religion in a traditional sense, but he often expresses awe, wonder, and humility in the face of the cosmos, which some readers interpret as spiritually resonant. A quote: ““The mind of God is cosmic music resonating through 11-dimensional hyperspace.” Day-yum, i wanna smoke a doobie with that guy, and then put some of my music on for him. I’m making a 7 Chakra Bi-Naural meditation soundscape atm…
Mathew McConnauhey needs no introduction, but did you know he is a philathropist? He co-founded the Just Keep Livin Foundation, which aims to empower high school students by providing them with tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices.
His 2020 book, “Greenlights” was actually quite spiritual, so it is said, with the instructions to “Trust in Life’s Flow”. Key word, Trust. Ol’ Matty talks openly about his belief in God, though he’s not dogmatic. (Can a person be Deer-matic? Yes…) He is quoted as saying, “I believe in God. I believe in the teachings of Jesus. I try to live my life so that I can look God in the face and say, ‘I did the best I could.’”
His Reflecting Deer energetic imprint resonates with his journey of introspection, where he took time to reflect on the “green lights” (opportunities) in his life and the lessons learned from the “red lights” (challenges). His work encourages others to find grace in their struggles and to use self-reflection as a tool for personal and spiritual evolution.
Here’s a little snapshot of the “Deer” Nagual i painted on my mural last Winter Solstice. Handy, eh?
Fascinatingly, Johnny Depp is also Reflecting Deer, who once again exhibits a spiritual dimension in his life and work, though it's not rooted in conventional religion. Instead, he embraces a personal, eclectic spirituality that draws from various traditions and emphasizes individual exploration.
His spiritual perspective is influenced by multiple traditions, including Native American spirituality, Buddhism, and Christianity. He encourages his children to find divinity in nature and within themselves, reflecting a belief in a universal spiritual presence. Depp has long been known for his introspective nature and willingness to reflect on his own inner turmoil.
And last but not least, Kid Cudi. Born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi on January 30, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio, he is a multifaceted artist known for his contributions to music, acting, fashion, and literature. Emerging from a background marked by personal struggles, including the loss of his father at a young age and battles with mental health, Cudi's work often reflects themes of introspection, resilience, and spiritual exploration.
While Cudi has not publicly adhered to a specific religious doctrine, his work and public statements suggest a personal and evolving spiritual journey. He has openly discussed his struggles with depression and addiction, often attributing his resilience to a belief in a higher power and the strength found within himself. In interviews, he has mentioned relying on faith and a sense of purpose to navigate challenges, indicating a form of spiritual practice centered on personal growth and healing.
The propensity for all of these people to look within, Reflecting, and the spiritual side of the Deer is also evident with the Kid, especially after he quit cocaine. Through his music, Cudi invites listeners to reflect on their emotional journeys and embrace their vulnerabilities as part of the healing process. His recent announcement about his memoir promises even more insight into his spiritual journey and how he has reflected on his past to create a better future.
So it is my hope and wish for you that even a small fraction of today’s Reflecting Deer energy can be planted in your awarness and those energetic seed will grow. The Reflecting Deer energy reminds us that spiritual growth is not always about grand gestures—it’s about quiet introspection, grace, and gentle movement forward.
This is a day where deep inner spiritual wisdom can be accessed, and transformation can take place by simply pausing and reflecting on the journey. And once again, Deer Soul, I’d love to invite you to allow me to do your Mayan Embodiment reading, and here’s what a few of my clients have said:
