Activating Lucid Dreams
Greetings, dear Soul! I’m giving you this early because on Saturday I am driving my friend’s car from Hiroshima to Tokyo, and then flying back home, about a 13-hour day. Saturday we enter the vibrant current of K’ een 107, Activating Deer, where Movement meets Grace, and Energizing Flow dances through the Dreamspace of sacred reality.
Here’s some Tone 3 data for you:
Tone 3 awakens the Hearthstones of Communication, Humor, and Divine Trinity, encouraging us to get things moving rather than remaining stagnant in ideas or intentions. Deer brings the Hand of Protection, Spiritual Leadership, Balance, and Earnest Presence, reminding us that true authority is not domination, but graceful stewardship rooted in respect and cooperation. This is a day for aligning movement with integrity, for allowing Spirit to move through practical action, and for remembering that manifestation itself is a sacred dance between grounded effort and invisible guidance. Here’s all the Codes:
Yet every sacred K’ een casts a Shadow Ego. Tone 3’s Ego Dramas can appear through Triangulation, scattered Hyperactivity, or paralysis disguised as Laziness and self-doubt. Deer’s shadows emerge as Violence, Greed, and Procrastination, particularly when leadership loses humility or when spiritual authority becomes disconnected from compassion.
Today’s Shadow Ego may reveal itself through frantic busyness without direction, manipulating others into emotional triangles, or avoiding responsibility while pretending to “wait for the right moment.” The medicine arrives when we stop performing movement and instead move with consciousness, sincerity, and grounded respect for both ourselves and others.
Shine a Light on the Shadow Ego
Where might I be creating unnecessary triangulation instead of speaking directly and honestly?
Am I confusing hyper activity with meaningful progress, or even sacred movement?
Have feelings of low self-worth caused me to seek validation through status, control, or spiritual superiority?
Where has procrastination become a hidden form of fear or avoidance in my life?
In what situations might greed or possessiveness be blocking generosity and authentic cooperation?
Am I using my voice and energy to nurture harmony, or to unconsciously stir conflict and imbalance?
Now, as it happens, we happen to have four stellar Exemplars, brilliant, deep, dreamy:
Meryl Streep embodies Activating Deer through her extraordinary grace, discipline, and commanding presence across decades of performance. Her ability to move fluidly between vastly different characters reflects Tone 3’s Energizing adaptability and Deer’s regal authority.
From intimate dramas to sweeping historical roles, she has consistently demonstrated the cooperative craftsmanship and earnest dedication that Deer carries so naturally. Her career reveals a balance between immense talent and humble professionalism, earning profound respect from peers while maintaining a grounded devotion to the art itself. Even her voice and physical presence carry the vibration of sacred communication and refined spiritual leadership through storytelling.
In Shadow Ego, Meryl’s intense perfectionism and relentless work ethic dances along the restless edge of Hyperactivity, where constant motion can become difficult to slow down. Critics at times have accused elite Hollywood circles of reinforcing Hierarchies and exclusivity, mirroring Deer’s shadow around authority structures and status. The pressure to remain at the pinnacle of artistic respectability for decades also reflects the exhausting side of Tone 3’s perpetual movement, where stillness can feel almost impossible.
Carlos Castaneda carried the unmistakable aura of Activating Deer through his teachings on shamanism, altered states, herbal medicine, and spiritual tools. His books opened portals of imagination for millions, presenting the path of the warrior-seer with authority, mystery, and movement between realities. Few people realize, even himself, that Don Juan Matus, being a Yaqui Indian / Toltec Shaman was of the same Spiritual DNA as the Aztec / Mixtec, and the Yucatec Maya. (The Guatemalan Maya have a slightly deeper version of the Tzolk’ een, with different associations to the Naguales.)
I think Carlos would give a very big nod of approval that in Mayan Embodiment Don Juan’s teachings have flavored the mix by the Tonal / Tonahl connection to the Tones and the Nagual connection to the Naguales. Here’s the rationale:
Deer’s Hand of Protection appears through Carlos’ role as a spiritual guide, while Tone 3’s Communication energy flowed through his storytelling and provocative dialogue around perception and consciousness. His work energized entire generations to question consensus reality and explore direct spiritual experience beyond conventional systems.
Yet Carlos also became deeply entangled in Shadow Ego dynamics surrounding spiritual hierarchy, manipulation, and secrecy. Former associates accused him of controlling behavior, emotional triangulation, and cultivating dependency within his inner circle. Questions surrounding the factual basis of his teachings mirrored Deer’s shadow of Greed and misuse of authority, while Tone 3’s Hyperactivity appeared in the restless construction of mythic identities and competing narratives around his life. His legacy remains both inspiring and deeply controversial, embodying the paradoxical dance between mystical vision and human shadow.
Michael Talbot reflected Activating Deer through his elegant synthesis of spirituality, science, and consciousness studies. Best known for exploring the holographic universe theory, he served as a bridge-builder between mystical insight and intellectual inquiry. Tone 3’s Movement and Communication shine through his ability to energize abstract ideas into accessible language, while Deer’s Balance and Spiritual Tools appear in his effort to weave together quantum concepts, intuition, healing, and metaphysical exploration into coherent frameworks. His writings invited readers to see reality itself as interconnected, alive, and participatory.
In Shadow Ego, Michael’s work was often criticized by skeptics for speculative leaps that blurred the line between rigorous science and metaphysical extrapolation. This reflects Tone 3’s tendency toward scattered momentum and Deer’s shadow around authority claims within spiritual discourse. His passionate drive to connect everything into one grand framework occasionally led critics to accuse him of overreaching conclusions, mirroring the challenge of balancing inspiration with grounded discernment.
I’ve read his “The Holographic Universe”, or rather, i should say i TRIED to read it. My brain-mind-thingy just couldn’t grasp anything substantial, but i know one person who must have read it, and fully groked it:
Sam Harris embodies Activating Deer through his impeccable communication style, intellectual rigor, and willingness to engage difficult philosophical terrain. His work around meditation, neuroscience, ethics, and consciousness reflects Deer’s spiritual tools and Tone 3’s energizing communication gifts.
Harris consistently challenges audiences to think critically while also advocating contemplative practices that cultivate awareness and inner balance. His calm, methodical speaking style carries the regal steadiness of Deer combined with Tone 3’s constant movement of inquiry and dialogue.
Now, in the the earlier book noted on the poster above, “Waking Up”, Sam notes that at the age of 20 he and his best friend decided to try MDMA before their friends, so they didn’t know much about it, and stayed home alone together. After the drug stabilized, he had the sudden real-eyes-ation that he unconditionally loved his friend, and had no thoughts of conern for his own well being, just that his friend was joyful. Here’s a paragraph that follows:
“And then came the insight that irrevocably transformed my sense of how good human life could be. I was feeling boundless love for one of my best friends, and I suddenly realized that if a stranger had walked through the door at that moment, he or she would have been fully included in this love. Love was at bottom impersonal—and deeper than any personal history could justify. Indeed, a transactional form of love—“I love you because _______” now made no sense at all.
I believe that awareness stayed with him, and has shaped every publication and product he was created in some way. And I have felt that same thing countless times, on MDMA, and other entheogens, for my best friends, and perfect strangers. It is the best drug we’ve cooked up yet.
In Shadow Ego, Sam’s sharp critiques of religion and ideology have sometimes been perceived as dismissive, polarizing, or overly combative, touching Tone 3’s Triangulation dynamics and Deer’s shadow around rigid authority (and goring with antlers). Critics argue that his intellectual certainty drifts toward elitism or detachment, where rational analysis eclipses emotional nuance and collective sensitivity. The tension between clarity and compassion becomes part of his ongoing public dance, revealing how even disciplined intellect must continually balance power with humility.
Here are their Guides:
Harmonizing Rainstorm can be an extremely powerful K’ een, what with the “by any means necessary” approach to Tone 8’s normal skills of finding fairness and creating compatability. Then there’s Rainstorm’s lightning bolts, and the Tough Love connection to the Divine Feminine.
Patient Corn is a classic gender blending K’een, with Tone 9 the number one Sacred Womanly energy, and the very Divine Masculine power of Corn. These energies entwine with the Yin energies of the Divine Feminine Guide position.
Manifesting Sunrise is a very strong Divine Masculine Guide, the two hands working together, shaking hands, making deals, co-creating realities by dipping into the Collective Unconsciousness and turning ideas into physicality thru Sunrise.
Then we’ve got the double-stacked Rolla Bolla creeping in thru the Future Vision Guide window. It is my belief that this one factor is the main reason that many Mayan astrologists say that Tone 3 is a “low energy number” that should “stay home”. One of the reasons I am so driven to show people the Exemplars every day is to disprove those old fuddy duddies, while at the same time proposing hypotheses as to why those beliefs exist.
If a Tone 3 person does not have a firm grip on the reins of their life, Tone 11 is gonna trip them up big time by the late 30s and beyond. Four our Exemplars, standing up on stage to share their vision, SKREEEE-ing their messages from the heavenly to the earthly has obviously been their passion, further proof that Tone 3 is not a weak, stay at home number.
As for you and me on Saturday, the message is clear: movement alone is not enough. Deer reminds us that true spiritual authority emerges through balance, generosity, humility, and grounded respect for all life. Tone 3 asks us to keep energy flowing, but not chaotically — to move with purpose rather than reaction. Today is an invitation to become graceful in action, sincere in communication, and aligned enough that every step becomes part of the sacred dance itself.
With Unconditional Love and Universal Truth,
Een Lak’esh, Ala K’ een,
